Data Center in Aktobe

The data center in the city of Aktobe is located in the residential area of Kuraily, on the premises of the Aktobe Rail and Beam Plant. It began operations in 2020.

The data center consists of modules made of sandwich panels, divided into "cold" and "hot" corridors.

The data center is situated on the secured territory of the ARBZ plant. The perimeter of the data center is fenced with a 3D fence. All areas and the perimeter are under surveillance by a video monitoring system. Access to the premises is restricted by an access control system (ACS).

In each "hot" and "cold" corridor, there are flame detectors, and the information from them is collected at the central control panel in the Dispatch Room, as well as by the security team.

The power supply of the facility is provided by a distribution substation (DS) produced by the Krasnodar plant "Seti Max" with a capacity of 20 MW. The DS contains vacuum circuit breakers that automatically detect anomalies and protect the data center's energy system. Next, there are transformers with a capacity of 2.5 MW. The modules are equipped with low-voltage switchgear (LVS) rated for 630A. After that, on the racks, there are circuit breakers rated for 63A.
